One of the country’s most celebrated artist, Tajuddin Ismail is a humble man who come from Kuala Pilah in Negeri Sembilan. He was born on October 1949 where he underwent his early education. He then pursued his further studies in the area of Fine Art in the then ITM School of Art & Design from 1969  to 1973.

After that, he went on to study Graphic Design at Los Angeles’ Art Center College of Design and then continued is post graduate studies at the prestigious Interior Architecture at Pratt Institute New York. His past accolades include receiving the Fulbright Research Fellowship, a prestigious award given by the American Council of Learned Societies.
